Commodity Update

Corn's front month contracts are currently locked having limited up. Soybeans later contracts have also limited up for a second day in a row. Gold is flying and copper is moving higher. The really one that is interesting there is copper. A report today that China imports of copper was at an 8 month high as the raging demand in that country is offsetting the slowdown in the rest of the world. I covered my copper short today for a slight (really breakeven) profit. That theme may be slower to play out than I previously thought.
